Not even close to it....

Here we are: March 4, 2010.

Sounds like the setup for a mission on Halo or something....who'd a thought we would make it this far, into the "future". And the only thing that's changed is everything costs more, our phones our tappable, and everything is easier to do. I.E. Be a rapper, tv show host, radio personality. Just need the right series of events to pop off... in a way.
But for the most part, 2010 is 2009. 2009 is 2008. 2008 is 2007....and so on. The world is really no different than it was yesterday. It just has found a different way to cover it up. We're just better actors than we were yesterday.

So really....what"s new? What's going to be tomorrow's fad? Next week's trend? Next years' "IT"? And the bigger question is do you care? Will you be the one doing the "jerk" in the middle of a Richmond, VA intersection with a box fade, a letterman jacket, and a jansport backpack??
Are you going to take on someone else's identity as your own?? Or will you remain yourself....the leader.
Regardless of what you do, people will follow. And they won't stop there....they will imitate. Look at lady gaga.
She dress completely insane, you would think she'd be the only one dressing like that, but negative. She has a following too. No matter what you do, someone will be in the background saying, " hey that's kind of hot....let me try that".

It's a sad reality, but an inevitable and unchanging truth. There are leaders, and their are followers. Which category do you belong in?
