Class starts at 9:30 and if you can see when im posting this, I've got maybe 3 minutes to get there. I'm going though. Excited about today tho, I'm definitely writing more and more. I mean I'm finishing like five or six songs a day when I'm focused. I love every second of it too.
BUT....
Nothing in the world can be easy right?? I still don't understand why the "producers" wanna act funny now. Everything was going good, 'Welcome to BoardRoom', 'Free Studio Time', 'Here's a CD full of beats'.......but now it seems like it was easier to get in the studio when we were paying. Now it's like "Can we get a hour or two today?"
----"I gotta session"
MAN Why bring us on to your label and not treat us like we deserve to be there. I could definitely have waited a little bit longer and tried to get on with somebody major. Yea, it would have cost more in the end, but we trust these guys enough to put album ONE in their hands.
So when I asked Dre for some time yesterday and his text said....and I quote
"9:30. Confirm by 8:15 or im not leavin my house. If u confirm, b on time or im gone. 1."
Where did that come from??
I'm lookin at my phone like....ok, am I messin you up by askin you to do your job bro?
I know you got a fam, and whatnot...But it's been like 2 or 3 LONG weeks since I got a chance to go to the studio. and When we were paying by the hour, we could come in like 4 times in a week. What is this like the trial period or something.....are we gettin the "freshman beatdown"?
I still feel like we can get this Show on the road with BoardRoom, but I'm waiting on them to get as serious about our music as we are. They said it themselves, We bring a different sound to VA. We're tryna change the image of Virginia that we have right now because right now, people think that VA is just a mixture of every other state compiled in one. The Hip-Hop Dump.
We are not N.Y., and we are not Philly, We have something new to bring to the world, and we are gonna get our message out any way that we can.
9:40....Official Late for Class
